Established in 2010 Inception Designs, the firm became known for a wide range of projects for numerous developments within Kenya. Kavit Mediratta who is the principal of Inception Designs Ltd, founded the firm after 15 years of experience working with a number of high profile firms within Nairobi and Dar- es – Salaam.

 

Inception Designs Ltd was initially formed as a small scale architectural and interior design practice handling smaller sized developments. Within a span of three years, the company portfolio now boasts a number of large scale housing developments, commercial developments, malls and high rise residential developments.

 

Developments such as 9 West commercial building, Galleria Office Park, Galleria Gardens Residential Developments, Ivory Apartments, Buffalo Mall Naivasha, Ngecha Road (Mtini Estate) Luxury Homes etc., are a few of the well established and completed developments carried out by the Firm.

 

Kavit Mediratta, through the firm is still a Senior Consulting Architect with DMJ Architects, where he has been practicing and still continues to practice with them for now over 15 years. Numerous projects have been completed by DMJ Architects in association with  Inception Designs Ltd, such as Ridgeways Mall Nairobi, Prime Bank HQ Nairobi, Eden Square Nairobi to name a few.

 

The firm has carried out numerous office interior projects including GAME retail store at Garden City, Knight Frank Offices at Lion Place Westlands, Phillips Pharmaceuticals 9 West, and a number of residential renovations and extensions.
